Abstract:
To provide a construction machine capable of detecting failure (malfunction) of an accumulator by using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In the state where an engine 12 is in operation, a lever operation device 23 is operated and a regeneration change-over valve 38 is operated in a shutoff position (D), when accumulator pressure is less than a first threshold value, a control controller 44 determines that failure occurs. The first threshold value is set as pressure accumulated in an accumulator 29 when the engine 12 is started. When determining that the failure occurs, the control controller 44 continues to maintain the operating position of the regeneration change-over valve 38 in the shutoff position (D). When determining that the failure occurs, the control controller 44 also continues to maintain an operating position of an unload valve 27 in a shutoff position. In addition, when determining that the failure occurs, the control controller 44 releases restriction of a flow rate of a surplus flow rate by using the accumulator 29 relative to a regulator 13A of a main hydraulic pump 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
