PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a base isolation structure capable of designing a base isolation pit even if many underground stories do not exist, and rationally and permanently maintaining base isolation effect.
SOLUTION: The construction method comprises a step for constructing an earth retaining wall 3 being the side wall of a base isolation pit 4 by a size for securing a base isolation clearance between the underground building frames of a base isolation structure, and another step for performing the primary excavation of a ground, constructing the main set support 7 of an underground building frame 5a and the earth retainign wall 3, successively performing the secondary excavation of the ground, repeating a process for constructing the underground building frame 5a and the main set support 7 in the downward direction, constructing a foundation slab 2 being the bottom wall of the base isolation pit 4 by excavating the ground down to the final excavation level, providing a base isolation device 1 on the foundation slab 2 and supporting the underground building frame of the base isolation structure. The base isolation structure mutually movably constructs the relation with the main set support 7.
