PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reconstruction of a cylindrical structure having electric equipment such as illumination.SOLUTION: A construction method of a cylindrical structure which reconstructs an existing cylindrical structure 1 that includes electric equipment E to which a terminal 6 of a cable 5 extending from the underground is connected and is fixed so as to be erected from a foundation 9 to a new different cylindrical structure 10 includes: a step of cutting and removing an upper part of the existing cylindrical structure 1; a step of separating the terminal 6 of the cable 5 from the electric equipment E of the existing cylindrical structure 1; a step of inserting a new cylindrical structure 10 to the inside of the existing cylindrical structure 1 remaining on the foundation 9 side; a step of connecting the terminal 6 of the cable 5 to the electric equipment E of the new cylindrical structure 10; and a step of filling the inside of the existing cylindrical structure 1 remaining on the foundation 9 side with a filler 23 fixing the new cylindrical structure 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
