PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventive pedestal base for a ground anchor in a construction method for replacement of an existing building, which solves the problem that: conventionally, wale members are temporarily installed at two upper and lower positions respectively, thus increasing a construction cost and a construction period.SOLUTION: A pedestal base 1 for a ground anchor supports a wale member such that an existing wall skeleton is prevented from being collapsed, by transmitting pressing force of the ground anchor to the wale member temporarily installed on an inner wall surface of the existing wall skeleton as an underground outer wall. The pedestal base 1 for the ground anchor consists of: a beam seating part seating so as to make a beam form of a girder end remaining in the existing wall skeleton receive downward component force of the ground anchor; a pressing part coming into contact with the wale member to become an action surface; and an anchorage part for anchoring an end of the ground anchor between the beam seating part and the pressing part which are vertically disposed.
