PURPOSE: To increase the deformation coefficient of a roadbed by using geotextiles in square pillar, triangular piller, hexagonal pillar, or columnar form facing their respective sections to the upper side and the lower side to form a cubic reinforcement material, and filling a filler up to the top of a collective body of such a material.
CONSTITUTION: A thin cloth material (geotextile) of a woven fabric or nonwoven fabric is combined in a longitudinal plate and a lateral plate to form a cubic reinforcement material 1 in a polygonal form such as a square, a triangular, a rectangular, and hexagonal form, or a columnar form. The part to be the roadbed of a road or a railroad is cut and reformed to produce an excavation surface 6, to which the cubic reinforcement material 1 is provided. In this case, the section is erected in the up and down direction. Then, a filler of sand, pebbles, or the like is filled up to the top. When a drainage is necessary, drain pipes 8 are provided at the lower part of the cubic reinforcement material 1, and a connecting pipes 9 are penetrated through the excavation surface 6. Consequently, the deformation coefficient of the roadbed can be increased compared to the case of a plain reinforcement.
