Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smokeproof wall and construction method of smokeproof wall which can reliably prevent falling of a glass panel and can be easily applied also to an existing smokeproof wall with a continuous glass panel.SOLUTION: The smokeproof wall 101 comprises: an upper frame 12 fixed to the ceiling 1; a glass panel 11 fixed to the ceiling 1 via the upper frame 12; a cushioning member 15 composed of a flexible smokeproof sheet 31 and blocks a gap between the glass panel 11 and the wall 2 (or the column); and a fall prevention member 40 which prevents the glass panel 11 from falling off from the upper frame 12 by the wire 41 connected at one end to the upper frame 12 (or the ceiling) and at the other end to a glass receiving portion 43 disposed under the lower end portion of the glass panel 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
