To ensure end bearing capacity of a steel sheet pile foundation by a foot protection part and prevent the installation of a subsequent steel sheet pile becoming impossible due to the foot protection part of the early installed steel sheet pile tip, thus improving workability.
In a construction method of a steel sheet pile foundation, in which a plurality of steel sheet piles 10 are continuously provided in the ground in the state that joint parts 11, 11 of the adjacent steel sheet piles are fitted to each other: an early steel sheet pile 10 is driven in the ground; a flowable solidification material 21 is blown out from a tip of a pipeline 30 arranged along a longitudinal direction of the early steel sheet pile 10; a subsequent steel sheet pile 10 to be fitted to the joint part 11 of the early steel sheet pile 10 is driven before the flowable solidification material 21 is solidified at the tip of the early steel sheet pile 10; and the flowable solidification material is repeatedly blown out from a tip of a pipeline 30 arranged along a longitudinal direction of the subsequent steel sheet pile 10. Thereby, a foot protection part 20 formed by solidifying the flowable solidification material 21 is constructed at each of the tips of the steel sheet piles 10.
