To improve adhesion to a lathing and durability performance.
A construction method of a tile wall 10 includes: a step of applying an adhesive 4 to a lathing 3; and a step of sticking a tile unit 1 for which a plurality of tiles 2 are connected beforehand in the state of maintaining a joint interval S by tile connection means 5 to the lathing 3 to which the adhesive 4 is applied. The tile 2 has a front surface 2a forming a decorative surface, a back surface 2b to be stuck practically in parallel to the lathing 3 on the opposite side of the front surface 2a, and a side face 2c connecting the front surface 2a and the back surface 2b in a tile thickness direction. The tile connection means 5 comprises a hardened object of an adhesive 7 which has the same color tone as the adhesive 4 applied to the lathing 3 and contains the same main agent as the main agent of the adhesive 4. Also, the tile connection means 5 includes a base part 11 over the side faces 2c and 2c of the adjacent tiles 2 and 2 and a projection part 12 covering at least a part of the back surface 2b. For the base part 11 and the projection part 12, a maximum thickness W3 from the back surface 2b is equal to or smaller than 0.1 mm.
