Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of an underground trench and an excavation spacer that reduce an excavated soil amount, reduce risks of fall-off and others, and reduce deformation risks of surrounding ground at a time of trench excavation, by minimizing a trench width.SOLUTION: An excavation spacer 1 includes a pair of plate-form materials 3, an injection pipe 5 provided between the pair of plate-form materials 3, and a support 7 provided between the pair of plate-form materials 3 for maintaining an interval between the plate-form materials 3. The excavation spacer is embedded and installed in a ground while fluidizing sediment of the ground by injecting high-pressure water jet from the injection pipe 5. The excavation spacer 1 installed later is connected with the excavation spacer 1 installed previously using a guide joint. After embedding and installing the excavation spacer 1 in the ground, sediment at a portion between the pair of plate-form materials 3 is removed using the injection pipe 5 for forming a trench part, and muddy water that is a fluid filler is filled in the trench part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
