Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for unshaped refractory showing a superior anticorrosion of a work refractory layer attained through construction.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a construction method for unshaped refractory comprising the steps of: (A) mixing powder material composition including refractory powder, binder, and dispersant with construction water to produce unshaped refractory; (B) filling the unshaped refractory in a flow corn placed on a flow table in accordance with JIS R 2521-1995 and measuring a spreading diameter D of the unshaped refractory when a total number of 10 times dropping motion is applied at a rate of one time per second after the flow corn is removed away upward; and (C) constructing the unshaped refractory into a vessel for iron-making when the measured spreading diameter D of the unshaped refractory is from 120 to 140 mm.
