PURPOSE: To save labor and shorten term of works for construction of a large- sized silo.
CONSTITUTION: On constructing a silo 1 composed of a hopper body 5 having a plurality of hopper spaces 8 and a case 3 to be constructed of concrete, being integral with the hopper body 5, construction of the hopper body 5 is started first while the lower part 3a of the case 3 is constructed simultaneously with its level corresponding to the construction level of the hopper body 5, and the upper part 3b of the case 3 is constructed later. As the hopper body 5 is constructed prior to the construction of the case 3, construction materials can be brought in with a large-sized crane without being obstructed by the case 3 while an ample space can be ensured for construction of the hopper body 5.
