PURPOSE: To facilitate taking out of flights, which are foldable in the conveying direction of a work from one end of a press die, to the outside of a press machine together with the press die by extending said flights to constitute the work receiving base of an idle stage.

CONSTITUTION: Respectively a pair of flights 10A, 10B are extended from the one end part of bolsters 3a, 3b which are a press die toward the conveying direction of a work, and a receiving base 11 in an idle stage I 2 is constituted by said flights. The flights 10A, 10B consist of root parts 13 fixed via holders 12 to bolsters 3a, 3b and turnable and movable flight parts 14 hinged to the parts 13. The flight parts 14 are made foldable by means of piston rods 15a to be actuated by means of air cylinders 15. The bolsters 3a, 3b are then easily drawn out to the outside of the press machine in the stage of folding the flights 10A, 10B.
