To provide a contact detection device that can detect a contact by a slight movement and reduces detection errors for high detection accuracy.
The contact detection device has a pressure-sensitive means 14 and a processing means 152 for processing an output voltage of the pressure-sensitive means 14 and outputting the processing result. The pressure-sensitive means 14 is mounted on a part of an upper surface of a wall structure, a handrail 12 or the like that may be contacted by a contact. The pressure-sensitive means 14 is enclosed by a mounting part 13a and a movable part 13b, so that a contact deflects the movable part to deform the pressure-sensitive means 14, which in turn outputs a voltage. The output signal of the pressure-sensitive means 14 is processed to eliminate detection errors.
