Title:
CONTACT DEVICE FOR CIRCUIT BREAKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3442304
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a fixed side contact to be dismounted and mounted only by shifting it so as to relatively move a contact shaft in the direction of its opening part along a U-shaped cut-out slot and thereby to simply replace a damaged contact of a circuit breaker by providing the fixed side contact with the U-shaped cut-out slot, and by mounting it by fitting the U-shaped cut-out slot to the contact shaft.
SOLUTION: A U-shaped cut-out slot 21a is formed in a fixed side contact 21 of a fixed side contact unit 20 of a contact device, and the fixed side contact 21 is mounted by fitting the U-shaped cut-out slot 21a to a contact shaft 9. When the fixed side contact 21 is replaced, all of the fixed side contact unit 20 is extracted, an arc runner 23 is dismounted by removing two mounting screws 22, and the fixed side contact 21 can simply be dismounted by catching a tool on a projection 21b of the fixed side contact 21 and drawing it out. Its mounting can simply be implemented by pressing a new fixed side contact 21 so as to fit its U-shaped cut-out slot 21a to the contact shaft 9.
