CONSTITUTION: In the contact electrifier 204 coming into contact with the photosensitive body 202 to electrify it, a conductive nonwoven fabric 100 has surface contact with the photosensitive body and further, a voltage is applied to the conductive nonwoven fabric via a conductive holder. The conductive nonwoven fabric 100 has 105-107Ω/square surface resistivity to electrify the photosensitive body to a prescribed potential with less electrification unevenness.
