Abstract:
To provide a method for adjusting contact frictional force without substantially requiring a movable structure, and to provide a clutch structure and a brake structure using the method.
This method is provided for adjusting the contact frictional force of both members contacting with each other. At least one contact place of both members is constituted of a material excited by predetermined radiation and changing in frictional force. The frictional contact force of both members is controlled by controlling a frequency of the radiation or ON-OFF to the contact place to the two members.
