Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact gap adjusting method allowing adjustment of a contact gap per product with high precision.
SOLUTION: In the adjustment of the contact gap (ON angle), a rotor 3 is rotated by a predetermined rotation angle (16°) only to press a contact part 8a of a movable terminal 8 against a contact piece 7a of a fixed terminal 7 and then the contact piece 7a of the fixed terminal 7 is deformed up to a first bending position (a position where the contact part 8a and the contact piece 7a are separated from each other) from an initial position by an adjusting tool 10. After that, the adjusting tool 10 is pulled up to obtain a spring back amount when load is removed. A second bending position where a bending angle is larger than that at the first bending position is calculated in accordance with the spring back amount, and the contact piece 7a is pressed up to the second bending position. Then, the adjusting tool 10 is pulled up to remove load from the contact piece 7a in order to measure the contact gap using a position where the contact piece 7a returns by spring of a metallic plate as a target bending position (substantially equal to the first bending position).
