PURPOSE: To obtain a printing paper which has uniform fixing rate distribution and the little wrinkle and curl of paper by constituting a device of a fixing roller provided with a heat source in its inner part and a pressurizing roller which press-contacts with the fixing roller and setting the fixing roller under the pressurizing roller.

CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted of the fixing roller 31 incorporating a heating means 30 and the pressurizing roller 32 arranged so that it may come in contact with the fixing roller 31 and rotate. Then, the fixing roller 31 is set under the pressurizing roller 32. Therefore, in the period of warm-up after a power source is applied, when the fixing roller 31 is heated by the heating means 30, the surface of the roller 32 is heated by air heated by the heat gener ated from the roller 31, so that the difference of a surface temperature between the fixing roller and the pressurizing roller is hardly found. Thus, fixation is made excellent from a 1st paper after starting printing, and the excellent quality of the printing paper which has the little wrinkle and curl of the paper is obtained.
