A holding device 40 includes: a contact lens support part 110 for installing a contact lens; a fluctuation support part 90 for supporting the contact lens support part 110 fluctuatably around a lateral rotational axis; a lateral slide support part 70 for supporting the fluctuation support part 90 slidably in the lateral direction; a longitudinal slide support part 50 for supporting the lateral slide support part slidably in a longitudinal direction orthogonal to a lateral direction in a horizontal direction; and a base part 42 for fixing and supporting the longitudinal slide support part 50 and having an attachment member 46 to be attached to a holding device support part vertically movably installed on a measuring instrument.
