To materialize a new technique to provide contact lenses which can show a good correcting effect for irregular astigmatism caused by conical corneas, which cannot be corrected with existing glasses and contact lenses (residual irregular astigmatism), and the new technique can mass-produce industrially and provide effectively the contact lenses with a practical new structure without relying on customization for each person of wearing.
A contact lens for irregular astigmatism correcting, has a convex correcting area 27 on one side of a particular diameter direction line 30 and has concave correcting area 28 on another side, and in both correcting areas 27 and 28, moduli of lens diopter are set to gradually increase from circumference edge towards center part.
