PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved contact lens storage case that allows a preservation solution to be brought into contact with inner/outer faces of a contact lens accommodated in an accommodation recessed part, allows an improvement in a contamination adherence preventive property or operability at a time of taking out the contact lens to be obtained, and further allows securement of lens holding stability and a preventive measure against a leakage of the preservation solution to be advantageously attained by a lid body.SOLUTION: In a state where a lid body 16 is fitted to a container body 14, the lid body 16 has a low protrusion section 44 that gets into an accommodation recessed part 12, and gets into a low part lower than a liquid level 72 of a preservation solution 20, and, at the low protrusion section 44, an adsorptive holding section 54 is provided that covers an inner face 58 of a contact lens 18, and makes the lid body openable with the contact lens 18 adsorbed and held by defining an encapsulated preservation solution filling area 76 between the low protrusion section and the inner face 58. Further, at the low protrusion section 12, a narrowing protrusion section 32a is provided that narrows a gap between the adsorptive holding section 54 and an inner face of a peripheral wall of the accommodation recessed part 12.
