Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce friction resistance with a water flow at planing time of a planing boat, by forming an irregular surface having a fine recessed part or protruded part separating the water flow from a ship bottom surface by rolling in air from outside a hull to partly a water contact surface at planing time in the ship bottom surface.
SOLUTION: A pair of irregular surfaces 21, having a fine recessed part or protruded part for involving air from outside a hull partly to a water contact surface S in a surface region surrounded by a draft line WL at planing time on a ship bottom surface 20 to be formed as almost triangular shape, are formed in a position of right/left symmetry by interposing a center line E. The irregular surface 21 formed between a first vertical strip 9 and a chine C in rearward both outer side parts of the hull surface 20 has a plurality of vertical grooves 22 extended in parallel to the center line E as a fine recessed part. In this way, air 18 involved in the vertical groove 22 from the forward or the rearward of a hull outer part by the irregular surface 21 separates a water flow from the hull surface 20, so as to reduce friction resistance with water in the hull surface 20, sailing performance can be improved.
