To provide a contact member connection body which produces contact members made of a composite material composed of a heat-resistant non-oxide and a metal material and excellent in denseness with a good productivity and a small energy, and to provide a method for producing the same, a contact member having the excellent property, and a circuit breaker using the contact member.
The contact member connection body 1 is obtained by molding the composite material into such a shape that a plurality of connection members 2 and one end member 4 are integrally connected in a row through each connection part 3, and in each contact member 2, a fracture surface is exposed at least in one side surface among a plurality of side surfaces by fracturing the connection part 3. The density of each contact member 2 is increased to 97% or more by a production method including integrally press-molding the connection body having connection parts 3 and then collecting pores into the end member 4 by successively raising and lowering temperature toward the end side from the tip side of the row.
