To reduce electric power for closing a movable contact and a fixed contact and make structure simple by arranging a tripping means for opening the fixed contact and an energizing means for applying force in the closing direction to a movable structural body between a base and the movable structural body.
A cross bar 35 is pushed against an opening stopper by the resisting force of a tripping spring 22 and rested, and magnetic attractive force is applied to between a permanent magnet 29 and an attracting member 31 through a yoke 30. In order to close a movable contact 23a and a fixed contact 16a, a driving means 17 needs the driving force exceeding the resisting force of a main contact spring and the tripping spring 22. Force almost equal to the sum of the resisting force of the main contact spring 24 and that of the tripping spring 22 is applied to the opposite direction, and balanced to force applied to the cross bar 35 to drive a driving means 17 with less input power. For balancing, a cancel mechanism 27A, a magnet unit 32, a first and second balancing springs 33, (34) are installed. A frame is strongly held against shock or the like and opening of the contact is prevented.
