Abstract:

To obtain a contact pin tip treatment plate for reducing the contact resistance of a contact pin in a contact probe.

In a contact pin tip treatment plate 33 where the tip of a contact pin 2a of a contact probe 1 is pressed to and brought into contact with a treatment surface for treating the surface of the contact pin 2a, a plated layer 34 is formed by plating pure gold to the surface of the treatment plate 33. The plated layer 34 made of gold has higher conductivity, and has lower hardness than the contact pin 2a.
