Abstract:
To provide a contact switch capable of feeding a medium current or a heavy current, while maintaining endurance of a movable contact, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: In a switch where an elastic click body 1 is provided with a conductive movable contact 20 coming in contact with an electrode 11, i.e., the conductive part of the electric circuit of a circuit board 10, and separating therefrom, the elastic click body 1 is molded of thermosetting elastomer, and the movable contact 20 is formed of a material blending and mixing thermoplastic resin, excepting the thermosetting elastomer, and a carbon material. Since silicon rubber is not used as the material of the movable contact 20, but is mixed with graphite particles by using thermoplastic resin, the thermoplastic resin fuses to encapsulate the graphite particles. Since the contact resistance value can be lowered by increasing the compounding amount, there is no hindrance to electric supply not only of a small current, but also a medium current and a heavy current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
