To reduce the wear of a contact tip, and to stably supply the power by holding a welding wire between turnable roller-shaped contact tips, and supplying the power to the welding wire through the contact tip to be brought into contact with the welding wire with the prescribed force by a spring to eliminate the fluctuation of a power supply point relative to the welding wire.
A hollow body 1 through which a welding wire 2 is passed is fixed to a welding equipment in an attachable/detachable manner. A protective cover 3 is attached to the body 1 in an attachable/detachable manner, and a frame-shaped support plate 4 is held between the body 1 and the protective cover 3. A pair of shafts 5 are movably supported by the support plate 4 in the radial direction of the body 1, and the shafts 5 are energized by a spring in the approaching direction to each other. A pair of roller-shaped contact tips 7 are turnably supported by the shafts 5. One end of a brush 8 is fixed to the body 1 by a screw 9, and the other end is brought into contact with the contact tip 7. Contact of the wire can be secured even when the contact tips 7 are worn.
