Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a contact tip generating little wear when welding is carried out for a long time and, especially in a robot welding, preventing the generation of welding defect.
CONSTITUTION: A double pipe structure having an inside ceramic part 1 and an outside tough pitch copper part 2 is formed from a composite wire manufactured by hydrostatic extruding. The ceramic part 1 is left remaining 5-10mm from the tip end and the diameter of a wire passing hole at the tip end part is larger than the diameter of hole at other part 3 by 0.1-0.4mm.
