Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent container body which shows good injection molding property even when the body is made thin, has large wear resistance and beautiful appearance which increases the value as a product, and shows almost no decrease in the physical strength even at low temp. compared to that at normal temp.
SOLUTION: This container body contains ≥70wt.% high density polyethylene resin having the following properties, and 0.01 to 1.0wt.% of one or more kinds of fatty acid metal salt lubricant and fatty acid amide lubricant. The high density polyethylene resin has 5 to 20g/10min melt flow rate, ≥0.950g/cm3 density, ≥9000kg/cm2 bending rigidity, ≥65 Shore hardness scale (D scale), ≥2.0 kg.cm/cm Izot impact strength with a notch, and ≥120°C Vicat softening point (under 1kg load), and ≤-50°C brittle temp.
