To provide an inspection device of a containerized cargo capable of inspecting wholly containers landed from a marine structure or containers to be stowed into the marine structure, and allocatable in an existing various quay cranes lower frame parts.

This inspection method of the containerized cargo has a two-storied frame 21 having an inspection space and a lower space. A temporarily positioning stand 22 equipped with a roller 23 for temporarily positioning a container 14 landed from the marine structure by a quay crane and conveying it to a radiographic inspection position, an X-ray inspection machine 40 for performing radiographic inspection of the container 14 conveyed by the temporarily positioning stand 22, and a hoisting mechanism 54 for delivering the container 14 after the radiographic inspection to a container conveying vehicle 70 waiting in the lower space are provided in the inspection space. An opening 62 for relaying the container 14 is provided between the inspection space and the lower space.
