To provide a chassis for a container capable of certainly informing a cargo gear and an operation of the cargo gear that fixing between a container and the chassis is released.
In the chassis for the container, a container provided with fittings for fixing itself on all corner portions of a housing is plated to be carried. The chassis for the container comprises a chassis frame on which the container is placed; locking means provided at positions corresponding to corner fitting of the container of the chassis, and fixing the container and the chassis frame through each corner fitting of the container; a detecting means detecting whether the container and the chassis frame are fixed by each locking means or not; and an informing means connected to the detecting means and outputting an informing signal when the container and the chassis frame are fixed by at least one locking means.
