Title:
CONTAINER COUPLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004018025
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a container coupler which can always smoothly operate a detent mechanism for stopping a rotary shaft with an upper engaging cone engaged.

The rotary shaft 6 is inserted into a shaft insertion hole 5 formed on a coupling body 1, and engaging cones 7a and 7b are provided at both upper and lower ends of the shaft 6. The coupler body 1 is formed with a stopper insertion hole 31 passing through the upper and lower portions of a flange 2 and communicating with a hollow chamber 4 in the body 1, and a stopper 32 is incorporated into the stopper insertion hole 31. A projection 33 facing the stopper 32 in the peripheral direction of the rotary shaft 6 while the stopper 32 is lowered and stopped is provided along the outer periphery of the rotary shaft 6. The stopper 32 is made to be spherical so that it can smoothly move in the hole 31 and the detent mechanism of the rotary shaft consisting of the stopper 32 and the projection 33 can always normally operate.
