To optimize the loading work of a container crane having a container relay platform.

A container crane 1 for loading or unloading a container vessel 22 with containers 21 is provided with a movable first traverser 17 and a movable second traverser 26 on a crane girder 8. A movable first trolley 9 for delivering the containers 21 between the container vessel 22 and each traverser 17, 26 is provided on the crane girder 8 at a position close to the sea than the traversers 17, 26. A movable second trolley 12 for delivering between the traversers 17, 26 and a ground equipment is provided on the crane girder 8 close to the ground than the traversers 17, 26, and rails for moving the first traverser 17 and the second traverser 26 are separately laid on the crane girder 8 so that the first traverser 17 and the second traverser 26 can pass each other in the condition that they are loaded with the containers 21.
