This culture container 10 is obtained by disposing a groove like culture soil receiver 11 whose cross-sectional shape in the cross direction is an inverse triangle, and forming a slit like drain opening 12 in the lower end portion of the culture soil receiver 11. A high culture device is formed by combining supports 19 and horizontal members 13, 14 which are formed from pipes, and then holding the culture container 10 at a higher position than the ground surface 15. Plant seedlings 17 are cultured in culture soil 16 charged in the culture soil receiver 11.
