PURPOSE: To obtain a tree-culturing container raising rooting ratio after transplantation, promoting occurrence of thin roots without deteriorating a material of a container, comprising a side made of a porous member, by partially closing the void part of the porous member, having dotty air-permeable parts and slightly air-permeable parts.
CONSTITUTION: Polypropylene films 3 having 1.5mm width are thermally bonded under pressure at 10mm lattice intervals to only one side of poly (lower olefin)- based polypropylene nonwoven fabric 2 to give a porous member having 150g/m2 apparent weight as a total. The porous member is applied to the side of a container 1, further polypropylene nonwoven fabric of spun bond type is heat- treated only on one side by a heat roll and is applied to the bottom of the container 1 with laying the heat-treated face outside to partially close the void part of the porous member. The side member and the bottom member are cut and sewed to give the objective container 1 for culturing a tree, having dotty air-permeable parts and slightly air-permeable parts, being buried in the ground 6 and used.
