Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a container delivery device capable of accurately transferring a container to the prescribed position of a carrier on a self-traveling carriage.
CONSTITUTION: This container delivery device 7 is formed out of a delivery stage 9 laid alongside a wharf 6 and the ramp 10 of a ship's hull jointed to one end thereof, and a self-traveling carriage 4 equipped with a carrier elevator goes and comes back on the stage 9 and ramp 10. Furthermore, the delivery stage 9 has container support racks 11 erected at both sides thereof for supporting containers 5 afloat from the upper surface thereof, and container positioning members 12 laid on the upper end of each rack 11 for positioning the containers 5.
