To provide a containerized cargo carrying apparatus having an X-ray inspection apparatus for efficiently implementing a radioscopic inspection to an interior of a container when the container is loaded and unloaded.

The self-advancing containerized cargo carrying apparatus (a straddle carrier) has a pair of frames oppositely disposed through the container. The container is carried and suspended by a movable arm vertically movable between the frames. An X-ray source is provided in one frame and irradiates the other frame with X rays. An X-ray detector is provided in the other fame by facing the X-ray source, and detects the X rays transmitted through the container. The radioscopic inspection is implemented to the interior of the container when the container is loaded and unloaded.
