Abstract:
To provide a container handling vehicle which mechanistically receives a moment which rotates a jack forward to maintain a work posture of the jack when pulling up a container.SOLUTION: A container handling vehicle includes: a chassis 3 on which containers are loaded; a cargo handling arm which is provided on the chassis so as to rotate in a fore and aft direction and used to perform cargo handling work which is directed to the containers; and a roller jack D10 which is disposed below the chassis 3 and inhibits sinking of the chassis 3 during the cargo handling work. The roller jack D10 is configured to be rotated from a storage posture in which the roller jack D10 extends rearward and shifted to a work posture in which the roller jack D10 extends downward by a hydraulic cylinder D20 and is configured so that a moment acts on the roller jack D10 in the work posture in an opposite direction to the storage posture if the roller jack D10 moves rearward in a grounded state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
