To provide a container for heating a food product designed to ensure both high seal performance in preserving the food product and proper air flow in heating the food product, and also prevent its lid body from coming off the container body unexpectedly during heating the food product.

This container comprises the container body with an opening on its upper part, a lid body to seal the opening, and a coupling part formed on periphery of the lid body to be coupled with its counterpart formed on the upper end of the container body so as to seal the opening. A projected part is formed either on the coupling part or the counterpart so as to form a gap between them, and a recessed part is formed on the other so as to be coupled with the projected part. The coupling part of the lid body can be coupled with the counterpart on the container body either in the sealed state that the opening is sealed with the recessed part and the projected part coupled, or in the aerated state that the projected part abuts either on the coupling part or the counterpart on which the recessed part is formed without being coupled with the recessed part so as to form the gap.
