To provide an inexpensive container holder device and a container support unit having simple constitution which can flexibly respond to the side surface shape of the container.

The container holder device is equipped with: a holder body having a storage part; and a support means which is oscillatably mounted to the holder body and supports the side surface of the container stored in the storage part. The support means comprises: a first support member having a circular-shaped first gear part oscillatably downward mounted to the holder body; a second support member having a circular-shaped second gear part which is oscillatably upward mounted to the holder body, and meshed with the first gear part of the first support member, and a spring for urging the first support member and the second support member to the direction separating them.
