The container holding device has a structure capable of transporting molten metal from a first factory on a supplying side to a second factory on a side to be supplied through a public street, and is used at least when transporting the container of a sealing pressurization type with the forklift in the second factory. The device is equipped with a holding device body, a container loading part rotatably supported by the container holding body and loading the container, a rotary drive part rotatably driving the container loading part, and a fork insertion part provided in the holding device body and allowing the fork of the forklift to be inserted.
