The container housing device of the slice-like matter has a housing device body 4, first and second turning and receiving members 12, 14 for housing the slice-like matter S in the container, the first and second turning and receiving members 12, 14 can move between a receiving angular position for receiving the slice-like matter S and a bending annular position for bending both ends of the slice-like matter S inward. The first and second turning and receiving members 12, 14 has a supporting and receiving part 16 for receiving the slice-like matter S and a bending and holding part 18 integrally arranged in the supporting and receiving part 16. The slice-like matter S is inserted between the supporting and receiving part 16 and the bending and holding part 18 of the first and second turning and receiving members 12, 14 in the receiving angular position, the bending and holding part 18 of the first and second turning and receiving members 12, 14 act on both ends of the slice-like matter S from the lower side and hold the same by making the supporting and receiving part 16 a center while bending the same inward when being turned from the receiving angular position to the bending annular position.
