Title:
CONTAINER MADE OF EXPANDED THERMAL INSULATING PAPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002128047
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a container made of an expanded thermal insulating paper having an excellent display effect due to a clear print, requiring a simple manufacturing process so as to form an expanded thermal insulating cup in a single forming process of a cup, and low costs in manufacturing it, and which is inexpensive and has an excellent thermal insulating effect.

This paper cup is formed of a laminated base paper which is composed by laminating an inner laminating resin layer 5, a first paper layer 6, an expanded resin layer 7, and a second paper layer 8 successively from the innermost at least in its drum portion, and since it is heated, the expanded resin layer is expanded to obtain an expanded thermal insulating cup 1. The expanded resin layer is sandwiched between the paper layer 6 and 8, so that the expanded resin layer 7 can be satisfactorily expanded, and the container made of the expanded thermal insulating paper can be obtained without exposing the expanded resin layer outside. Employment of low tension paper for the second paper layer 8 enables the expansion of the expanded resin layer at a high rate.
