To obtain a cold reserving transport container capable of arranging articles to be housed and held to a cold state in a multistage fashion in a mutually non-contact state and capable of keeping freshness over a long time without bringing the lowering of freshness caused by the mutual contact of the articles to be held to a cold state.
A container 200 is made of synthetic resin foam and has a main body 10, a lid 40 and a partition plate 3 to be inserted into and engaged with the main body. The main body 10 has a drain hole 11 provided at its bottom part and a first step part 12 for engaging the partition plate 30 with its inner peripheral wall. A space A2 for ice pieces I to be spread all over the bottom part of the main body and articles (cuttlefishes) C1 to be held to a cold state arranged on the ice pieces I is formed between the bottom part of the main body 10 and the partition plate 30 engaged with the step part 12 and a space A1 for arranging the articles to be held to a cold state is also formed between the partition plate 30 engaged with the step part and the lid 40. A large number of holes 31 permitting cold air to pass are formed in the partition plate 30.
