Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transform control of a container 1 in a container terminal into IT. SOLUTION: A harbor information network 23 is constructed among a physical distribution information center 22 of the container terminal and a shipper, a cargo collecting dealer, a shipping company, and customhouse. A file or a holder 28 attached with a key number is made in response to the individual container 1 for communication in the network 23. Physical distribution information on a container number, a seal number, and a loading cargo is preserved in the file or the holder 28. A radio IC key seal tag 20 for transmitting the seal number only in a sealed state, and transmitting the key number even in an unsealed state is attached on the container 1, and communicates with an antenna 9 installed in a terminal gate, a yard crane 25, and a container crane 26, and is made to correspond to the file or the holder by retrieving the file or the holder 28 by the key number to control the container 1.
