To provide a container measurement device capable of aiming at easy speedup and of correct measurement and separation of the prescribed number of cylinder containers.
A flange part of a cylinder container W is provided with three screw shafts 53 where screw grooves 53a which can be engaged are formed. The screw groove 53a has a gradual increase part for increasing an amount of lead gradually and an uniform part which is formed on a downstream side of the gradual increase part and has a uniform amount of lead. A finger 75 for separating the cylinder container W is structured so that it rises between sections which have reached the uniform part. The finger 75 runs in parallel to the cylinder container W carried by the screw shaft 53 at a period when the cylinder containers W carried from an upstream side has reached the prescribed number. The finger 75 is risen, so as to separate a group of the prescribed number of cylinder containers from a subsequent cylinder container W and transmit it to a downstream process.
