Abstract:

To provide a container for a microwave oven capable of easily opening the container and a lid body after heating in the microwave oven.

A container 1 for a microwave oven includes a lid body 3 including a base material layer 4, a heating element layer 5 generating heat by receiving electromagnetic waves; a thermoplastic seal layer 7 which is provided in a portion in contact with an edge face forming an opening of a container body 2, adheres the edge face and the lid body 3 and is melted by heat generated by the heating element layer 5, and is configured to seal the opening formed in the container body 2. In the lid body 3, a thermosetting resin layer 6 is formed between the seal layer 7 and the heating element layer 5.
