Abstract:

To provide a container capable of easily performing highly sensitive optical measurement of a sample after nucleic acid amplification reaction.

A container 1 for nucleic acid amplification reaction includes a side wall part 2 and a bottom wall part 3 made of an integrally molded resin, wherein a side wall part 2 is cylindrically formed to be tapered toward one end, and a bottom wall part 3 is optically transparent and is formed in a flat plate shape substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the side wall part 2. The container has sufficient resistance to a high temperature and change of the temperature during nucleic acid amplification reaction by integrally molding the side wall part 2 and the bottom wall part 3 with the resin while the inside thereof can be observed by an optical microscope through the flat plate shaped bottom wall part 3.
