PURPOSE: To make a container accomodative to paintings in various sizes, and to lighten the weight therefor for facilitating transportation and storage by a method wherein the container is constructed of a case base that can be folded at a crease in the center in two parts each having the same area and two covers bendably connected to two sides that are in parallel with the crease.
CONSTITUTION: A case base 1 that can be folded at a crease 4 in the center in two parts, each having the same area, is provided. Two covers 5 and 6 bendably connected to two sides that are in parallel with the crease 4 of the case base 1 are provided. Furthermore, a plurality of bands 13-20 are provided to the case base 1. At the time of use, a painting or the like is placed on the case base 1 and after fastening is made with the bands 13-20, the covers 5 and 6 are put and fixed for closing. At the time of unuse, the covers 5 and 6 are put and after that, the case base 1 is folded for fixation at the crease toward the direction opposite to the direction of bending of the covers 5 and 6. Thereby, the painting or the like can be packed simply, facilitating transportation and storage because of its lightness in the weight and compactness that is feasible by folding in two.
