Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accomplish high speed ground transportation of air freight by forming a container pallet loader equipped with a traction trailer in such a structure that truck-based freight carrying cars can be utilized in transportation.
CONSTITUTION: The oversurfaces of a front platform 3 and a rear platform 4 are adjusted into the level of the freight transport path surface for an airplane, while the oversurface of a platform 22 is coordinated with the over-the-ground level of a truck type carrying car. When freight is carried out of the airplane, the freight is transferred via the front platform 3 to the rear platform 4, which is then sunk to the level of the platform 22. Upon the platform 22 the heading direction of the freight is changed so that the wider side of the freight is identical to the longitudinal direction of the carrying car, and transfer thereto is conducted.
